Step Up For Students (FES-UA)
Step Up For Students is a Scholarship Funding Organization that administers Florida choice scholarships, including the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA). FES-UA is an Education Savings Account (ESA) for eligible students with qualifying diagnoses (including Autism Spectrum Disorder, among many others). Families manage funds through Step Up’s systems (including EMA / Find Providers). Award amounts vary by student and matrix—confirm current figures and deadlines with Step Up, not from a clinic webpage.
- FES-UA = Education Savings Account for eligible students with unique abilities
- Approved specialized services can include ABA (by/under BCBA supervision), speech, OT, and PT from approved providers
- Families use EMA / Find Providers; direct billing or reimbursement may be available depending on Step Up rules

We work with families using Sunshine Health Florida Medicaid MMA benefits for ABA and related pediatric therapies when authorized.
Children’s Medical Services Health Plan
We work with families enrolled in Florida’s Children’s Medical Services (CMS) Health Plan for kids with special health care needs—verify benefits and authorizations with us.
Molina Healthcare of Florida
We work with families using Molina Healthcare Florida Medicaid for ABA and related therapies when benefits and authorizations allow.
Aetna Better Health of Florida
We work with families using Aetna Better Health of Florida Medicaid for ABA and related pediatric therapies subject to verification and authorization.
Private Pay
Families may pay privately for assessment and therapy. We explain intake clearly and discuss whether scholarship or insurance pathways can be combined when rules allow.
