Accessibility Statement
Behavioral for Kids, Corp. is committed to helping families access information about our ABA and pediatric therapy services. We work to make this website usable for people with disabilities.
Effective date: August 12, 2026. Last reviewed: August 12, 2026.
Our Commitment
We are committed to improving the accessibility of https://behavioralforkids.com in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III expectations for public-facing websites, and to pursuing conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. As a Florida clinic serving families online, we treat accessibility as an ongoing operational practice—not a one-time badge.
This statement is not a claim of complete conformance, formal certification, or that the site has no legal risk. It describes our goals, assessment methods, known limitations, and how you can request help if you encounter a barrier.
Conformance Status
Based on automated axe-core testing (WCAG 2A / 2AA / 2.2 AA tags) across key routes and a manual keyboard / landmarks / forms checklist on August 12, 2026, this website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA: some content conforms fully, and we are actively remediating remaining gaps. We describe this as working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA, not as certified ADA compliant.
Assessment Methods
On August 12, 2026, we assessed the public marketing site using:
- Automated testing with axe-core (CLI) against WCAG 2A, 2AA, and 2.2 AA rule tags on a local build preview of primary routes (home, services, areas, about, contact, guides, insurance, blog, accessibility, privacy, and terms)
-
Manual checks for keyboard access, skip link, focus visibility, landmark structure,
heading order, form labels, link purpose, image alternative text, and
prefers-reduced-motionbehavior - Contrast spot-checks on design tokens in our shared stylesheet (brand blue, orange CTAs, muted stone text on light and tinted surfaces)
Automated tools do not catch every barrier. Screen reader verification with NVDA, VoiceOver, or TalkBack, and feedback from people with disabilities, remain important next steps.
Measures We Take
As part of our ongoing efforts, we aim to:
- Use semantic landmarks, one primary
h1per page, and clear headings - Support keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, and a skip link to main content
- Provide meaningful link text and alternative text for informative images
- Maintain sufficient color contrast in primary content and call-to-action controls
- Label form fields, mark required inputs, and support common autocomplete values
- Respect reduced-motion preferences for non-essential animation
- Review new pages and components for accessibility issues as we update the site
Known Limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing process. As of August 12, 2026, known or expected limitations include:
- Third-party content (if added later), maps, or embedded widgets may not meet the same standard as first-party pages
- PDF or downloadable documents are not currently a primary content format on this site; if we publish documents later, we will prioritize accessible versions or equivalent HTML
- Complex interactive patterns (for example, mobile navigation and multi-step explainers) may still need additional screen reader polish after automated passes
- Browser zoom and text spacing are supported via responsive layout, but extreme user stylesheet combinations can still expose edge cases
When we identify issues, we prioritize fixes based on impact to users—especially barriers that block calling, contacting, or understanding services and insurance options.

Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. Your comments help us improve. Send accessibility feedback to info@behavioralforkids.com with the subject line "Website Accessibility."
Compatibility Goals
Our goal is compatibility with current major browsers and commonly used assistive technologies on desktop and mobile devices. Supporting every possible configuration is not always feasible, but we prioritize removing barriers that prevent access to core information such as services, contact details, and appointment requests.
Florida and Federal Context
As a Florida clinic serving the public online, we take accessibility seriously under applicable ADA Title III requirements and related guidance. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is our practical technical target. This statement reflects our current commitment and process. It may be updated as our site and practices evolve.
