• ABA by/under BCBA supervision

Why families combine therapies

Children with autism or other qualifying diagnoses may need support across communication, motor skills, sensory processing, and behavior. A coordinated week might include ABA plus speech or OT when clinically appropriate. Funding rules—not just clinical preference—determine what the ESA can pay.

2. Match credentials to Step Up’s approved-provider definitions.
3. Ask each clinic whether they support marketplace direct billing, reimbursement documentation, or both.
4. Avoid duplicate bookings that your schedule or budget cannot sustain—map goals first.
